The 3 F's

Feast Tobacco Docks

Now that I have peaked your interest, hang your head in shame, this is not going to be the filthy post that you were expecting. No Fifty Shades of Grey here.

The 3 F's stand for a Foodie Force Feast. Well it had to be food related really. You all know that I love my food, spending half my time eating, the other third taking pictures of food and the remaining writing about the food I have eaten.

Last weekend saw the return of one of London's best food festivals, 'Feast' where 9,000 foodies flocked to the historic Tobacco Docks.

Tobacco Dock London
The festival had copious traders, foodie offerings and a variety of bars on site. I decided to visit on Saturday evening, my rational being that it would be cooler as London is currently experiencing glorious whether.

I start my foodie journey at Popdogs, mainly because of the wonderful aromas that these lovely sausages were giving off.

Popdogs

Popdogs is a favourite having tried them at Camden Lock previously. Their sausages are all about the finest ingredients and the brand also has a wonderful sense of humour which helps.

I chose Clinton's Lovechild £6.
popdogs
An all American classic dog with 100% pork oak smoked sausage, infused with chorizo and seasoned with nutmeg, paprika and black pepper.

All this eating builds quite the thirst, so I head inside in search of a drink, stumbling literally into Christabel's

cocktails
The bar offers botanical cocktails infused with herb syrup. As a lover of gin it is an easy winner the 'Flirt' - Rose Lemonade, Gin and Rosemary Syrup £8.

This is becoming like a Fifty Shades of food porn.

Our next stop was Jubo, selling wonderful Korean cuisine.

Korean Food
The food options here were easy, it had to be Korean Fried chicken 'Yangnyeom Tongdak' £4.50 and Pork steamed buns £3.50. Yummy!

After all this eating I was in need to walk some of the food off, whilst looking at the rest of the food and drink on offer of course. Well you have to build up an appetite some how.

Meringue Girl's
The meringue girls are so talented, these are a work of art, the colours and uniformity of their creations. The desserts were epic. If you want to try them outside of the festival they are sold at Selfridge's. You could even try making them yourself at home as the girls have lots of videos on their website.

One of my favourite desserts at Feast however has to be the crème brûlée from thebrulerie

Now brûlée is a favourite dessert of mine and many a restaurant I have had this in have tried to over complicate it and ruined it.

Crème brûlée
The girls who make these are seriously talented the vanilla sky I had was amazing. They definitely have a bright future ahead of them.

Another new try at Feat was 'Fire Eater'. This will definitely be on the Christmas drinking list. If you like Chai Latte this is the alcoholic equivalent, a magnificent blend of cinnamon and whisky.

Fire Eater

I could have entered the Guinness book of records for the amount of food that I consumed. Man verses food seriously has nothing on me.

Thank you Nuffnang, Feast, Londonist and Foodism for a wonderful evening. You made a foodie very happy. I received a free entry ticket to the festival but all food and drinks consumed were paid for by myself. All opinions as always are my own.
