Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas
Valentine's Day will soon be upon us, so today I am sharing some gift ideas and inspiration. If your other half is lacking inspiration leave them some big hints. If your spending it without someone special shower yourself with gifts.

As a foodie anything that is food related always gets my vote. I love to cook a special meal on Valentines Day and Occa-Home have lots of lovely items for the home and kitchen. My top picks would be the Le Creuset deep heart shape dish and a slate cheese board heart. Food served in these would look beautiful.

For after dinner treats Hotel Chocolat has lots of wonderful chocolate delights. Highlights for me are The Sleekster Valentines selection and The Love Birds.

To create the perfect romantic setting Kelly Hoppen has so many beautiful floral candles, room sprays and diffusers.

Valentine's Gifts

Lush this year have introduced lots of new products for Valentine's Day. I have been busy testing them to share with you the highlights. They create the perfect romantic bath.
Lush
Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar £3.25 Before I say anything else when I look at this it reminds me of the Care Bears, so beautifully bright. Lush have done some wonderful bubble bars, not only do they make wonderful bright baths, they also smell divine. The Unicorn Horn includes two ingredients that I find very relaxing in beauty products, lavender and Ylang-Ylang oil.

Prince Charming Shower Gel £4.75 Lush have truly outdone themselves. This smells so wonderfully fruity, it reminds me of Turkish delight with a hint of grapefruit and a tiny amount goes a long way.
Lush
Floating Flower Bath Bomb £3.50 I enjoy using bath bombs to relax. The flower bath bomb spirals out in a kaleidoscope of colour. It has a strong smell of Jasmine and reminds me of summer honeysuckle. Lush smells often evoke memories for me and this is perfect to wipe away the winter blues.

Add some spice to your evening with some beautiful lingerie. Boux Avenue have some beautiful camisoles and matching bra and knickers sets. If you spend £60 they have a wonderful free gift too.
Valentines gifts
None of these presents tick the box? Fed up with your family constantly going on about when will you have a boyfriend? Invest in an invisible boyfriend. With a new service that launched in January you can now create your own perfect virtual boyfriend.  You can create him in any image, he will treat you like a princess and the best bit of all he won't give you any lip.

How do you plan to spend valentines day?

  1. On valentines day I am going to cry and then eat until I explode and then cry some more. Lonely.

    1. Maybe this can be the new tune for Valentine's Day similar to "Its my birthday and I'll cry if I want too".
Hopefully you are joking and you will be having some fun Lucy x

    1. The unicorn horn makes a wonderful bath. I am a bit like you I think it is very commercial and couples should be nice to one another all year round not just on one day Lucy x

  4. The lingerie is gorgeous and the chocolates look so colorful! I think those chocolates might be just too pretty to eat. Roses are always a Valentine's day favorite of mine, even though they seem like it would be cliche.
