Nip + Fab

Beauty Test

Trying out and testing new products is great fun. I have found many of my favourite beauty products this way (to name but a few Ila, Abahna, Kiehls,Terry).

A few months ago I was lucky enough to win two Nip + Fab products from the lovely Lucy at Lulabel Loves

Lulabel Loves

If you haven't visited Lucy's blog then you should, she has a great blog, writing about beauty and lifestyle.

The two products to try from the Nip + Fab range: Yoga blend body lotion (£9.99) and The detox blend bath soak (£8.99).
Nip + Fab

There has been loads written about the new Nip + Fab beauty products and to be honest I was excited to try the products and see if they lived up to hype. The cynic in me thought no products can be that good.

Millie Mackintosh was recently revealed as Nip + Fab brand ambassador.

Now if the products gave me a figure like Millies I would be signing up for life, sadly that is not a claim the company makes, the best you are likely to get is improved skin.

So I have been trialling both products now for a few months, in order that I can give you all a fair and honest view.

Now you all know I love my baths, so a bath product is already a winner in my book. The Nip + Fab detox blend bath soak is for those moments when you need some peace, quiet and to unwind after a hard day.

Life recently has been a little hectic, so unwinding has been very much needed. The first thing I noticed when pouring this product into the bath is how runny it is, the consistency is a thin liquid rather than creamy. A little bit goes along way.

The smell that is released when running under hot water is wonderful, you can smell the coconut, Green Tea and Jasmine. The bath soak also has
Frankincense oil to help you relax.

Overall a wonderful bath product, with ingredients that help you unwind. This is definitely a product I will be repurchasing.

Next up is the Yoga Blend body lotion. Now this product I'm undecided on. The product itself has definitely improved my skin, making it wonderfully moisturised, soft and the overall feel is better. At £9.99 you get a huge bottle which is definitely value for money.

The issue for me is the lavender smell, which for me just doesn't work in the product. If you used the moisturiser at night, it would be perfect but the smell for day is just not right. During the day the smell of the product needs to be energising and uplifting not sending me to sleep.  Now if Nip + Fab made the Energy Boost Body Wash in this moisturiser it would be a definite repurchase. It needs a citrus smell.

Have you tried any of the Nip + Fab products?

If you haven't then you definitely should, they offer high end beauty products that are great value. Lucy has written about their latest Bee Sting Fix products here. I will definitely be trying more.

Have a great week.

  2. I've never been into lavender smells much. Not in the daytime, and not even at night. I don't know why. I am a huge fan of Jasmine smells, so that bath soak sounds amazing.

  5. Thankyou so much for the lovely shout out :) I am so pleased you have enjoyed the products - I completely agree lavender is not great for daytime. It's hard enough to wake up in the mornings without the lavender smell to make you drift back to sleep! xx

  8. I agree with lavender scents not working for during the day. It is wonderful/comforting at night when it's bedtime, but I prefer refreshing scents for day time also. Oh, if only their products could give us a figure like their Ambassador!!!

  10. I do like the sound of the bath soak, and my new flat has a bath (having lived without one for four years this is a huge relief) so maybe you've helped me find my first purchase!
